He said that in the last 10 years the SEC has been the top conference in the country, but this season his vote went to the Big 12 because of the wealth of QBs and their "home-run" ability. During his Big 12 QB speech he says a couple things about Chase Daniels then proceeds to spew about Mark Sanchez...U think he even watches college football or is he just an idiot?

What you have to realize is that guys like Finebaum and Cowherd stir things up intentionally. That's why they have good ratings.

I actually like both of them. When you finally realize where they are coming from and what they are trying to do it won't really upset you.

They are entertainers. They are somewhat knowledgable about their subject and when they are preaching whatever bandwagon you are on they make total sense. When they don't preach your way they're dumbasses.

After you listen for awhile you'll 'get it.'

It was a little piece of college football live. I rarely listen to him. The premise of the post is that Mark Sanchez doesn't even play in the Big 12 and he threw him into the Big 12 superiority speech

The SEC lost a lot over the past year including the starting QBs of the teams that played for the league championship.

I actually voted the Big 12 the top conference the other day on the MSB. As of right now, they've done more than the SEC. And, the SEC does have a lot more question marks than the Big 12.

YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT! Im not disputing that the Big 12 is a good conference. I think the SEC is better but Id put them at a strong #2, but thats not what im talking about. My point is that Cowherd was singing the praises of Mark Sanchez during his Big 12 QB discussion...do you see the problem there?

It's week 2, we should reevaluate things in week 7 and see how they compare then. By then OSU might be 2-5 on the year and LSU might be 7-0.

The obsession y'all have with USC is really kind of funny.

I don't mean this as a flame, really I don't, but I think your obsession comes from the knowledge that your two supposed national championships are both tainted and that, had you had to play USC in either year, you would most likely have lost to them.

2003 is a no-brainer. USC was hands-down the best team in the country and was ranked #1 in both polls at the end of the season, but you avoided them because of BCS formula hooey.

Last year, they were playing better than just about anybody at the end of the season, certainly better than Ohio State.....and you backed into the championship game despite having 2 losses and 2 more near-losses by leapfrogging other teams with only one loss.....because biased poll voters decided that playing in the SEC automatically made your schedule harder than anybody else's.

Of course, the tainted nature of your championships and the fact that USC has gotten screwed by the system (in addition to having had better teams) is why the media has given them more respect than it has given LSU.

I know that is not what any of you want to hear, but it is the God's honest truth......
