Kira needs to be on the floor with Jaxson and Hart. Kira runs P&R with Jaxson, and Hart gets the defensive rebounds when Jaxson fails to box out.
When those three played together last season, they had a point differential of +12.3 points per 100 possessions, according to Cleaning the Glass. That's in the 96th percentile.
And, yes, those three play well with Zion, but they also play well without him.
I want that trio to get minutes together on a nightly basis. They really complement each other.
And are y'all really freaking out because Kira didn't shoot that well in a few games of summer league? Anyone can have a good shooting game or a bad shooting game. Don't draw too much from such a small sample. If you want to draw a conclusion from summer league, then keep in mind that Kira's defense looked improved, and he posted the best +/= of the team.
