Absolutely right on both.
The dad did nothing constructive. The dad did nothing to change the situation.
All the dad did was to go to jail, lose a future civil suit, cause his kid to change schools (which will have similar requirements) and possibly lose his job.
Good job dad.

I'll agree to that. Mask rules are obviously moronic, but I don't think the dad needed to start up a physical fight.
