You know the spike proteins created by the vaccine are temporary, right? The presence of the spike protein itself is what makes the vaccine work - your body attacks the spike protein and thus "remembers" to attack should you be infected with covid.

I keep hearing this. Is this truly known or suspected. What data backs it up?

It's like natural antibodies. Nobody really knows how long they will last but data from other viruses can help formulate an opinion.

Is there a track record for creating spike proteins in this manner?
