I know one person who was hospitalized and was quite ill with COVID, on a vent for about 10 days. Took several months to get back to anything close to normal.
One person, indirectly, who died of COVID pneumonia.
All others I know who got COVID had a wide range of symptoms/severities.
Don't know anyone who died of the injection. But almost everyone I know who got the injection had the "day-afters" but nothing more serious.

I was about as anti vax as anyone for a while but my brother is an er doc in one of the delta hotspots. Hes had huge numbers dying lately.
I've had 2 coworkers hospitalized in the past several months. One took over a month to get out. Last night I had a 32 year old former student die.
I'm waiting on my second dose and my 12 year old is getting vaccinated tomorrow. A month ago I would have said no way in hell but data changes.
