For those of you, like me, who would like your fellow Tiger fans to show the anthem (all 70 seconds of it) the respect it deserves, FORGET IT. It'll never happen. There is a reason why so many people consider LSU fans some of the crudest in the nation. This is just more evidence they are right.

Oh please. No one thinks that LSU fans are the crudest in the nation because we yell "Home of the Tigers" or even because we yell the F-bomb. Hell, the Wisconsin student section yells "frick you! Eat shite!" to each other. I'm sure everyone's seen the video of a mass of Penn State students pelting a lone Ohio State fan with beer cans. The reason that LSU fans have whatever reputation that we do have is because of the perception of the culture of Louisiana as it is portrayed in the media, of course along with certain experiences like the tipping over of a port-a-potty with a Georgia fan inside and laying seige to the Tennessee bus in 2005.

OMG. Get a life. While I have not yet been invited to an LSU game, I can assure you guys are not the cruddest fans in the game.

Ever been to a Philadelphia Eagles game?

This whole discussion is just moronic.

Is the US not the home of the tigers? It is also the home of the gamecocks, the gators, the tide, my owls and every other university in the US.

I would think one would have to be an idiot if one were upset over the fact that a school takes pride in itself and its country. When a school and its fanbase cheers like that it shows pride and passion for both their school and their country.

What could be better?
