there will be a "wounded deer" he will have to retrieve sometime this year. I suspect I will tell him I appreciate him going to get the deer and to bring it on up to my farm house so I can process it.
Why would you process his deer?

A deer that runs onto my property after being shot...sure they can retrieve it.

A deer shot on my property by a neighbor who's trying to be a problem, not your deer. I'm calling green jeans.

Because I intend to keep it if it dies on my property. I don't want to listen to that "wounded deer crossed the property line" crap.

If he knows I will want it I suspect his shots will get much better and much more selective.
