Agreed but AEW has tarnished his legacy no matter what he says…..he should have hung it up after his matches in NJPW.

He's in AEW more in a mentor role than anything else. Especially to MJF. That kid is gonna be an absolute megastar as long as he keeps his wits. And having CJ, Jake the Snake, AA, Sting, Christian, Taz, and now Chavo around him can only help.

what???? No. No he hasn't. He was the 1st world champion and one of the main 4-5 known stars for a new start-up wrestling company that has averaged 1.1 mill viewers the last 4 weeks.
HE has put together most of his programs, storylines, his matches and all of his promos.
He's an elite level performer, and yea, he's 50. He's not the same in the ring as he used to be, but he's still telling better stories than a company on another channel that's been doing it forever.
If anything, he has enhanced his legacy. If AEW turns into a powerhouse down the line (trending that way) then he'll be 1 of the handful of guys that will deserve some credit.
