IMO, Going to the moon in '69 was bullshite. China can build a supersonic missile 5 times the speed of sound and surprise everyone in the USA, but China does not think they can successfully land on the moon till after 2030 due to safety concerns. But 50 yrs ago Americans supposedly tackled this impossible feat with essentially commodore 64 technology? Can't square that circle imo.

IPAs are very similar to hot sauce in that people that like them often chase the higher unit levels IBUs vs Scoville. This produces an arms race between brewers to add more and more hops making super bitter beers. I can drink traditional IPAs but a lot of the craft brewers today just take the bitterness over the edge.
Unpopular opinion:
All of the domestic American-style lagers are garbage. The reason most everyone likes them ice-cold is that it prevents you from actually tasting the beer which is the only way people can stomach it.
