More impressive...

What was more impressive the way LSU handled Ohio State in the championship game with a healthy Beanie Wells or the way USC handled Ohio State this Saturday.
Beanie is a BIG part of OSU's game. I believe if he didnt play last year OSU would not have scored either because he sets up their passing game.
The reason I bring this up is because everybody wants to say that USC is untouchable. I do feel they are playing the best right now but in no way was OSU even close to 100%. If they have wells I believe it is a 14 point game.
If there are any OSU fans left on hear I would really like to know your opinion.

USC looked ge=reat against a horrible team. The Big Ten is lame this year.

jury is still out on Penn St, though.

USC was more impressive because they did it against 18 of the starters LSU saw last year, plus Terrelle Pryor. That game was dominant.
Don't get your feelings hurt, it still means LSU is the National Champions.

OSU isn't a horrible team. They're a top 12 team with Wells playing, a top 25 team without. That's not horrible. Fact is, no one could've beat USC last Saturday—not us, not UF, not OU. They played an outstanding game, they deserve to be number 1. Growing up in SoCal, I fricking hate USC football, but facts are facts: SC is an awesome team. Now—here's to a humiliating 'SC upset in '08: Go Huskies!

I agree, albeit USC is good-but I do think there's atleast one team that's gonna slip up on them.

USC's win way more impressive than LSU's win was.

USC's remaining schedule is not as tough as LSU's schedule after 2 games last year. They have a much easier path.

I have a feeling LSU would have beatean Ohio St. similiar to USC if OSU did not have Wells for the NCG. USC still would have beat them pretty good though.
You are right, Wells is a huge part of the OSU offense, when LSU began to shut him down, they couldn't do anything.

With getting his arse kicked, should Tressel have played Pryor more and benched TB or was it better to guard him against injury to salvage the rest of the season? TB is too slow of foot for a fast defense like SC and LSU.

I agree 100%. LSU won 38-24. 7 points was garbage at the end and Wells had that long run at the beginning. If you take out Wells we were just as dominant and that doesnt include how Beanie helps sets up the passing game.

LSU won the national title against Ohio State. USC won their second regular season non-conference game against Ohio State. How quickly some forget how out-of-hand the LSU-Ohio State game was. It was 31-10 not even midway through the third. USC-Ohio State was 21-3 late in the third against a no Beanie Wells team.

you can say what you want, and while my opinion isn't popular, i believe USC looked alot better beating Ohio St. than we did. We looked good doing it, but they looked a little better.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking USC. USC is fricking good. Just like LSU was fricking good last year against Ohio State. We're splitting hairs talking about "who was better against Ohio State." Both teams dominated Ohio State.
My point was just that LSU won a bigger game against Ohio State than USC did. Sure, USC-OSU was an important regular season game, but that's all it was ... a regular season game that truth be told no matter who lost was still going to be close to if not still in the national title picture later on in the season assuming they win out.
