You apparently aren't very bright, because "requests" would suggest you weren't going to be asked to leave if you decided not to wear a mask. "Required" means something different.

Correct. I think mask are dumb. I would prefer not to wear one. However, if the place I'm going says I need to wear one to enter, then I either wear one or find somewhere else to do business with. It's really that simple.
I certainly don't feel it's worthy of running to a message board and making a thread about how much of a hard arse I am because I didn't wear a mask when someone told me I should.

Well like you pointed out, the statement from the OP says request. If a business just requested it, frick em. Run the business and demand I do things, otherwise don't bother. Most likely the sign is up just for the business to look like it is appeasing the mandate and in reality they don't give a shite if you wear a mask or not.
