Thoughts on these five books and which would you read first?

I ha e these in my cart on thriftbooks but open to other suggestions these are just a few that I have heard of in the past , or been recently suggested to me.
The five people you meet in Heaven
One hundred years of solitude
A thousand splendid suns (currently reading The Kiterunner)
The curious incident of the dog in the night time
The Road

A Thousand Splendid Suns was good, not as good as the Kite Runner.
I hated The Road. Maybe it's because my son was the same age as the son in the book when I read it and I found it terribly depressing.
The Five People You Meet in Heaven was pretentious tripe. You'd be better of watching a Hallmark movie.

The Road - loved.
The curious incident - loved.
One hundred years - sorta liked.
A thousand splendid - liked but - as was stated - not as good as The Kite Runner.
Five people - haven’t read.

The Road is a bit of a downer but one hell of a page turner imo. Think I read the entire thing in a day

I've read 3 of those.
I'd rank The Road and The Curious Incident Of the Dog In the Night Time about the same. One is just depressing(The Road) while the other is a little more lighthearted. So just depends on your mood. I'd recommend both though.
I'd skip The Five People You Meet In Heaven. It's not horrible, but just kinda hokey. But it is a quick and easy read, so not hard to knock out.

In order of the ones I've read:
- The Road
- One Hundred Years of Solitude
- The Five People you Meet in Heaven
The first two are great books that I would read again.
I've not read the other two of your recs. I may get to the Curious Incident...sometime.
