Mondo Olympic Update - Wins GOLD

Mondo has cleared 5.92 meters and only 2 other jumpers left. Neither of the other 2 have cleared 5.92. Mondo has no misses and the other 2 each have at leaset one miss.
Update - USA Nilsen just cleared 5.92. Mondo and Nilsen guaranteed at least silver. Fighting for the goal.
Update - USA Nilsen and Mondo just cleared 5.97. Mondo has no misses and Nilsen has 2 misses.
Update - Mondo just cleared 6.02 easily. Nilsen failed at that height. Mondo Wins GOLD

So apparently Mondo was supposed to have coffee with Sam Kendricks but he chatted with his Swedish model girlfriend too long and missed the coffee meetup. Kendricks later tested positive for Covid, meaning Mondo would have missed the finals. Crazy.
Also, if you have seen pics of his model girlfriend, then you know he is lucky in more than one way.
