I wish we would trade Bush

this might tick you off, but Saints could have taken Forte in 3rd round. but to trade reggie would be a mistake.

Bush is a star because of the weak arse pac 10 defenses. He is a good player if only for an occasional punt return, sweep, or screen pass that he breaks open for the highlight show. But as for consistency and power running, he can't cut it and right now that's what we need.
He's exciting, but I'd rather have a back that can pick up last weeks 3rd and 3, as well as today's 3rd and 1. Those plays may not make the high light reel but it wins ballgames!

your beef should be with the coaching staff. bush will never be an every down, run up the middle back. but, we have other backs that can give us a good rushing attack along with Bush. But, SP keeps running Bush up the middle instead of Pierre Thomas.

so Bush has over 100 total yds last week plus a td. Today he has 1 punt return plus 93 combined receiving/rushing but yeah lets trade that away so we can get a back that can get a 3rd and 1.

He also was the leading rusher today...........with a whopping 28 yards!!!!!

Pierre had 6 rushes for 8 yards. Its not like he set the world on fire either. Maybe the problem isn't with the skilled positions.

he also had a 55 yard punt return for a TD. if you get rid of him, lance moore is our return man. and bush is out leading receiver right now. are you serious?

if Bush is so bad then why is Thomas not tearing it up? Ever thought our Oline could be part of the problem or do you think maybe you are expecting a highlight real out of Reggie rushing the ball?

I think Alex Smith is about 6'3.

Bush is fine, he is not a true runningback. He is a 5-8 carry, screen pass back, slot wide receiver. Also a dangerous return man. What our problems on offense is the between the tackles runningback which Bush is and was not even at USC. I hope Deuce starts to get more and more carries until he is up to about 15 a game(if his knee can handle it)
