I was going to post the Martha Quinn song.
I used to be friends with Alan Hunter and his wife. Alan met the guy that founded MTV at a Mississippi in the Park picnic in Central Park, and he got the job on the spot.
It was funny watching Alan interview all the big shots in the music business. Just before he started with MTV, he was making ends meet singing Barry Manilow while his wife worked on her acting career.
