Higher income voters pay more regardless of party affiliation or voting tendencies. And higher income voters who vote Democrat are volunteering to do so.

But the point of my post was much simpler than all that. The point was that both leftist and rightist voters alike come to message boards just like this one to voice opinions and gripes.....there's just no distinction to be made in that regard.
