2019 alone

Parasite
1917
Ford vs Ferrari
Knives out
Once upon a time in Hollywood

Like I said in the prior post, I’m not going through the entire decade.

Do you have shitty taste or do you just blindly complain?

Five movies a year isn't really a great track record for original and entertaining product. And one was a foreign film, so four movies.

I will be the first to admit that 2019 was a solid year for motion pictures. Besides the films you just listed, you also had other solid movies such as The Irishman, Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, and Marriage Story, to say nothing of Todd Phillips's remake of Taxi Driver (Joker). But it was also an exception to the rule for the 2010s. Much of the decade featured below-average films and many of the Best Picture nominees/winners wouldn't have had a prayer if they had been released during the 1990s.

You forgot Joker and 1917. Good year indeed.
