Why is this happening? Why are the borders wide open during a pandemic yet true refugees escaping oppressive communism are sent back?
They made it to our shores, this is a small miracle and a-hole Biden sends them back. This pisses me off so much!

I can’t speak to what happens on land, but if people are found adrift and they’re from another country, the coast guard brings them back to their country of origin.

Yes, I know first hand about this 'policy' too well. I was evacuated from GTMO in the 90's because Clinton said come on down to the price is right to the Haitians & Cubans; & the Haitians rioted in makeshift camps causing evac of all dependents.
Can you name a time that the Southern border was ordered wide open? Why open borders and then turn down people that make it from Havana?

The people of Havana were just jailed and shot dead in the streets for protesting at the command of Communist leader Miguel Díaz-Canel.
I thought democrats are for helping the oppressed that protest, not sending them back to please the communists that support Cuba-China & Russia.
