Dangers of providing false hope

Has anyone else noticed how much the “science” experts flip flop on their messages from day to day.
Take for example CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky‘s comments from March 21,2021
“Our data from the CDC today suggests that vaccinated people don’t carry the virus, don’t get sick and that it’s not just in clinical trials, but it’s also in real world data,” said Walensky.
We now know this is an all out lie. Our bad right? What a reassuring statement to someone you are trying to sale a vaccine to. The real danger lies in the vulnerable population who fell for this farce. The ones who ventured out again knowing that the CDC has assured them that everything is going to be ok.
Does the CDC have credibility? I would say they have as much as any news outlet at this point. So why would I be less than skeptical to any recommendation they have going forward? Fool me once…..

It's truly amazing that you don't "follow the science" if you don't blindly accept what these idiots say when they change their talking points daily. The higher institutions of Medicine have lost all credibility with anyone but NPCs.

I work for an employer in St Tammany Parish with about 150 employees. There’s two people at my office that just tasted positive and both are fully vaccinated. They’re both women that are about 60 years old and one is in the hospital right now. I sure hope they make it through okay because they’re about the nicest people on earth.

I learned as a child that trust is earned. Also once you lose it, it requires more to re-earn it.

There must some kind government leadership class they take that says everything must stated with authority. Why can't they say we want to try this because it's our best educated guess.

I think moving forward a lot people are going to have trust issues when it comes to guidance from public health officials. I know I am one of them.
