Had lightning hit my new F150 during a really heavy rain.
Burned out $7700 of electronics, which insurance paid for. Knocked about a half inch of concrete out from under 3 of the four tires. Took them 3 weeks to fix because they had to replace each electrical system and test before they could go to the next electrical system. I think there are 8 systems. Anyways, pain in the rear.
Wasn't anything like that picture, thank the Lord.

Ah! I see where he made his mistake. Truck nuts should drag the pavement to give the lighting a path to ground thus discharging the strike. Voila! No damage.
