LSU's Favorite Son Does It Again!

FSU logs 494 yards total offense including 3 touchdown throws by FSU's young gun Christian Ponder before he gave way to DVO Richardson in the second half. FSU had 197 yards rushing on the ground including a 55 yard TD jaunt by reserve quarterback Richardson who also threw a touchdown bomb to Bert "speed" Reed.

The Seminoles started early and finished late in a 46-7 victory over the Mocs.

Corey Surrency the JUCO five star had 3 receptions for 87 yards and 2 touchdowns and Bert 'speed" Reed had 4 receptions for 52 yards and one TD and he dropped another sure touchdown bomb as footballs filled the air in Doak Campbell stadium.

Antone Smith lead the rushing with 13 carries for 78 yards in the first half before giving way to the youngsters.

DVO Richardson also completed 8 of 14 passes for 117 yards and one TD.

Pure freshman phenon Jermaine Thomas logged 5 carries for 34 yards.

The Seminoles have scored 117 points in two weeks using the deadly bubble screen of LSU's favorite son Jimbo Fisher now Head coach in waiting at FSU.

OU only put up 487 against Chattanooga, so that's something FSU can be proud of

Seminoles crack the top 25 in everybody's poll. Picked to win by 5.5 points by the Vegas oddsmakers over Wake.

Ponder now #5 rated quarterback in passing efficiency.

Rushing Defense: FSU #2, allowing 43 yards per game.

Pass Defense: FSU #9, allowing 127 yards per game.

Scoring Defense: FSU #2, allowing 3.5 points per game.

Total Offense: FSU #9, averaging 527.5 yards per game.

Rushing Offense: FSU #11, averaging 7.61 yards per carry.

Passing Offense: FSU #20, averaging 284 yards per game.

Passing Efficiency: Christian Ponder #5, with a 193.3 rating.
