Anyone who doesn't hate painting is either doing it wrong, or is already doing it professionally.

I don't agree. I actually like to paint, it is one of the most satisfying DIY projects in my mind. Most DIY stuff inside the house is fixing something that looks and functions the same as it did before. When you get the finished painting you can actually see what you have done.
What I do hate is moving all the crap out and back into a room.
