so cfb is evolving into a system similar to the minor league baseball system? A, AA, AAA?

no, but there will be a few superconferences with 16+ teams (50-60 teams total) and those will split off into their own division. The rest will go into another division, similar to how it is now with FCS, I-AA, etc.
