If they only talk the talk, we must make them walk the walk. This goes for Gurvich as well; I like your talk, but let’s see some action!

This goes for Gurvich as well
The reality is the Louisiana Republican Party as an organization, meaning the Republican State Central Committee, has zero influence when it comes to actual governing and much less influence than they think they should have when it comes to influence in political races. David Vitter’s team and Bobby Jindal’s team sparred to fill the SCC and its leadership with their people…and look where both of those guys and their inner circle are at now in Louisiana power.
There are some elected officials and/or their spouses who serve on the SCC in order to help fill vacant seats that no one wanted to run for, but the most enthusiastic/activist SCC members are on that because that’s the only position they could ever run for and get elected. That any maybe their neighborhood HOA. They fancy themselves “politicians”, but have no clue about having to do the work of a lawmaker/council member, and some just allow themselves to be useful pawns for other politicians.
