I think the old location will be a sports book. I know someone who when and applied for a poker dealing position. He said they are going to have a poker dealing school. I think they are planning to reopening with 4-5 tables within 3 months in the front of the casino next to the bar.

L’auberge Baton Rouge Poker room will be sports book.
Buffet is getting turned into sports bar.
The 3 shitty bac tables will remain bc they are the only games with consistent play.

why wouldn't they make the sports bar/book all in one? And what will happen to Stadium since it's already a sports bar?

So surprising nobody has a straight answer

I reached out to L'auberge via Facebook about a week ago asking about this. This was the response I received:

Hi, thanks for reaching out. We're in the process of hiring staff so we can hopefully open our poker room in the near future. We will definitely announce when it's available for play so stay tuned. Thank you for your patience.

Screw it, let’s start a TD weekly game. Btw I love to gamble with J10 suited.

Books just gonna be a counter basically & they don’t want to make it part of the bar next door.
Stadium stays the same bc they need a restaurant kids can go to bc they aren’t allowed on gaming floor. Sports bar where buffet is gonna be more bar than restaurant.

So they're lying about opening it back up? Or are posters in here misinformed?

Bump for any new information

They are trying to get people together for a dealer school for poker. Time frame is subject to change because of that. Most of the other info in this thread is wrong.
