Im being serious. With the no permit to carry law getting vetoed, I know a lot of people were in support of the bill that would allow people to carry without a permit.
federal and state laws prohibit a minor from having a hand gun except under very few instances - going to sneak in for poon is not one of those instances.
no it is not self defense in that situation.

In Louisiana, a 17yo can possess a handgun legally. That obviously doesn't allow them to possess an illegal pistol. A 17yo can not be sold/traded a pistol but they can be gifted one.
