Getting Fitted for Irons Tomorrow

Anyone have any suggestions?
Going in with an open mind and plan on basically going with whatever they suggest. I don't have any brand in mind and I've given myself a healthy budget.
Is there anything I need to be aware of during the fitting that can help? Get there early and warm up or go in cold? I chose a facility that has an actual driving range rather than hitting off of mats. (Leonards Golf Links in Fort Worth)
What all metrics do they measure to determine which clubs will work for you? Swing speed, attack angle, ball spin, attack angle? I'm curious to find out what my swing speed is and how it changes throughout the fitting.
Seems like the lead time on clubs right now is 4 to 8 weeks depending on the manufacturer.

The guy might just try to tell you to hit balls and decide. If he doesn't bring out his track man or whatever he has, leave.

You went to do a fitting there or you went to the driving range one time?

Fitting. It was 4 or so years ago probably.

He didn't have a trackman at your fitting?

Interesting. I haven't directly asked the question but they made it sound like they have a computer system of some sort.
I just assumed that some sort of swing system is used pretty globally now.

Ha had it and tried not to use it. I pretty much had to bother the guy to get it out.

Well, there is this on their website so I'm guessing they'll get it out. . .
custom club-fitting using launch monitors and the manufacturer’s latest fitting systems so nothing is left to chance.

That's what I thought too based on what I read online. He has a trackman (I think it's trackman, laumch monitor either way), but the day I went I had to ask several times about it and he gave me several "ahh we don't need it" type shite until I kept bothering.
I don't know, maybe the dude was having a bad day the time I went, but I wouldn't go back based on the experience I had. Hopefully you have a good experience, I'm just passing along my info.

Get there early and warm up, don’t over do it because you may end up hitting 100 Balls. Checking out the website and it seems limited like it’s going to be basic fitting with not much options restarting aftermarket shafts. If he doesn’t bring out a launch monitor I would leave. You need real numbers.
