Got fitted for a driver today

Walked out with a 44 inch Mitsubishi MMT 70 extra stiff shaft and an Epic Speed head with a 13 g weight in the back. I gripped it with the black and white new decade mids

Austin at Golf Dallas hooked it up same day. He shortened the staff and increased the stiffness and has me on a heavier head because I have a short backswing with power but my misses are snap hook when I throw my hands and turn too fast. I'm hoping I can shave a few strokes a round getting that spin down. I was up around 3300 rpm with my old driver and I was getting in the 2200 range with the demo.

Heads up - Don't go out to Buffalo Creek right now it's a disaster. We checked out Sky Creek Ranch and played an empty course Wednesday afternoon. It's a Trent Jones design and pretty nice for the mid-week rate. We've been all over the place lately.

The MMT Shaft is really good.
I like it better than the GD IZ Shaft that I got a few weeks ago.

My swing feels so much better on the new shaft. It has really good reviews online as well so I think I'll be happy with it.

They've been pretty dialed in on my swing so I'm going back at some point to get fitted for some fairway woods to complete the new bag.

I am thinking about going out there to get a wedge fitting. Glad to hear it's a good.
