He's not up for reelection so hes getting his and looking out for number 1. In his career I guarantee it has never been about representation. That knee is his middle finger to all you on his way out.
BTW my grandma had knee and hip replacement and there wasn't much sitting around not traveling. It was get off your butt and do your therapy.
