A merkin is a pussy toupe historically used by diseased skanks back in the day when pubic hair loss and shaving the pubes often signaled trouble to potential customers. Wearing a merkin was a way to keep the revenue stream flowing by disguising the risk.
Makes me wonder if there’s a previously untapped group of wine drinkers that Keenan is targeting. How could Napa Valley have overlooked this demographic for so many years?
