Fun story: I saw this copypasta but with Jan Vertonghen when he first joined the club.
At the time I didn't realize it was copypasta and thought that it was a real story.
So I assumed Jan was just a gigantic douche for about 2 years before I realized it was fake

Remember the Leeds/Spurs fa cup game in like 2013 or something? I remember Vertonghen played that day and it was kinda my first time watching spurs in a while so I wasn’t too familiar with him. I kept thinking the announcer was saying “the Tongan” yet this white guy was always on the ball so I knew it wasn’t Ekotto. (fricking racist) Lmao finally I googled the roster and was like aw shite he’s just a baw from belgium.
