I was 14 years old, I live in Louisiana, all my summer memories are of it being hot as frick in the summer time.

I agree with this. Growing up in south Louisiana was always a heat wave with oppressive humidity. In the 1960's during my first decade of life there was often no AC. Man I was much tougher back then
