title says it, would area ball be better if they used NFL rules?

no runing start or moving before the snap, no special rushing rules, just go get the QB.

i think it could be great, but at the same time, you wont have those 52-53 point games, but that is why i think it would be a better game.

area ball has way too much scoring, and defenses are neutered to help scoring, so what if every play wasnt a score and you actually had strategy and line play skill involved?

The field is way too small to have anything close to NFL rules.

thats kinda what i was wondering

i never found it interesting if a team scores every time they get the ball, which happens more often then not.

i watched it some but quickly got bored when every team scores every time unless a few rare mistakes are made

so im wondering how the game could be better and more competative then just a track meet of constant scoring

it started with the Jack Linebacker position... they were forced to stay in a small box and couldn't rush, which made them pretty inconsequential, and if they left it, it usually was an automatic first down penalty unless certain conditions were met

the Mac Linebacker was limited to rushing the QB through either the A or B gap, and the D-Line couldn't stunt or twist, which basically limited them to speed or bull rushing
