I fly a lot for work and see all kinds of shite at airports. I don't know what it is about travel that amps people up so much. On a plane right now actually.
There was a reality show a couple of years ago where they filmed in ATL and Chicago airports. There was at least a couple of meltdowns and one fight per episode. Humanity at its worst.

I work at a passenger terminal for ships, people are ridiculous.
Behavior has worsened tremendously the past 10 years. Unable to accept responsibility for their actions, they lash out at those who have no authority.
Half my time is spent on service recovery.

I think a lot of it is that it is costly, high stress, and that the slightest thing going wrong can leave you stranded indefinitely.
Granted, this woman is fricking retarded. Your flight being bumped for “mechanical issues” (crew changeover) or weather is outside of your control. Showing up late? That’s on you.
