I have never said this.

At all.

I'm just stating what reality is and why Trump is unlikely to be successful in removing Mitch from his position as GOP leader. A majority of GOP senators are fine with Mitch and Trump deosn't have the numbers to win against him.

If I had my way, someone like Ted Cruz with Mitch's institutional knowledge and discipline would be the leader here.

If I had MY way the parties wouldn't be allowed to select their own congressional leadership, the general public would. The parties would only be able to submit candidates for consideration.
