Discovered my gym had inbody from an earlier thread and get scanned at the beginning of each month starting in March. Definition of newbie gains?
awesome progress and some of that is newbie gains and then also muscle memory. once the nuclie fuse....takes over a decade to unfuse so some of that is prolly gaining what you had before.

I’ve got the beach in two weeks and looking forward to the break as fatigue has started to set in the last couple of weeks. I probably need to up my carbs. Calorie target now is @2800 per day.
Diet is the key. My previous diet was black coffee for breakfast, junk for lunch and dinner - and then alcohol for dessert. Since I WFH I switched it up and had to force myself to eat more…which is weird. Also, keep carbs relatively low throughout the day but don’t sweat dinner.
Advice to keep it going but not burn myself out?
advice is just dont over due it. you have yourself in a great place and set your self up big time for health for your 50s and into your retirement years.
find foods you enjoy and also take a break every once in a while. we are not making money from our bodies and you have to enjoy life too.
vacations are great to get away and take a break and deload the muscles and enjoy some foods you normally wouldnt, just dont go ape shite

Thanks! I’m going to ride this into the summer and then reevaluate. I’m already hitting the wall in my LP on the presses so thinking of switching to the reverse pyramid from the other thread. Getting one more rep in the AMRAP is becoming a struggle.
Also, anyone with access to a sled I highly recommend. I do 5-7 slow laps (10 yd pull, 10 yd push) with one plate on lifting days to warm up and on non lifting days hit it hard after walking - 10 to 12 laps as fast as I can go with two plates. Hands on knees, sweating, feel like I’m going to die. My left knee used to be a problem and is now solid.
I’ll probably cut that from Thursdays first.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
