Outside the work he did with the judiciary has it been good for conservatism at all?

If MG had been confirmed, he’d be MUCH LESS dangerous than he is now.

Change my mind.

He would have convinced 22 Republicans to vote to convict?

How do you say "fricking idiot" in Mandarin?

McConnell could have very easily corralled 22 republican votes had he wanted too.

Ok then. NAME THEM. Be sure to point out which ones were up for reelection in 2020.

This isn't the CCP where disobedience = death, as much as you wish it were.

Never. McConnell is owed nothing but calling him out as one of the primary contributors to the continuing crisis.

How many committee chairmen are there? It would not have been hard to convince republicans to elevate Pence to President.

2020 Senate: 53 Republicans, 47 Democrats.

That means that 20 Republicans would have had to vote to convict.

Once again, name the 20 that would have voted to convict at McConnell's direction given that the following were up for reelection:

McConnell himself
Collins
Loeffler
Perdue
McSally
Sullivan
Cotton
Gardner
Risch
Ernst
Roberts
Cassidy
Hyde-Smith
Daines
Sasser
Tillis
Inhofe
Graham
Rounds
Alexander
Cornyn
Moore-Capito
Enzi

That's 23 Republicans up for reelection. You really think McConnell would put his own reelection bid at risk and expect 20 of the remaining 30 to follow suit?
