2 championships in 20 years should be a reasonable expectation (details inside)

LSU should clearly be a Top 8 baseball program, but no team makes Omaha EVERY year.
Step 1. Make Regional (top 64) - absolutely every year
Step 2. Make Super Regional (top 16) - should be every year but say 4 out of every 5 to account for injuries or an opponent in the regional getting hot
Step 3. Make CWS (top 8) - should win Super Regional 3 out of every 4 times.
Step 4. Make CWS Championship series (top 2) - should do this 1 of every 3 times you make it to Omaha. I would like to think every other time, but this is not the 80s or 90s when there were only a few elite programs.
Step 5. Win National Title - should do this every other time you make it to finals.
Putting all this together over 20 years:
(Coach Johnson is 44 years old and hopefully coaches until 64+):
20 regionals
16 Super Regionals
12 trips to CWS
4 times in CWS championship series
2 National Titles
I think these are reasonable. Of course, I'm hoping for great players and enough luck to win 3 or 4 titles.

not making regional is a firing offense then?

Damnit, this is very well reasoned.
I don't like it.

LSU WAS the Bama of collegiate baseball. Two championships in 20 years for Bama would get you fired. It is not good enough at LSU for baseball, either.
