Agree stay at the battery if you can. Lots to do there.
I’ll agree with all the restaurants just mentioned. I’ll add a couple more.
Heirloom BBQ is not far from the battery and is a good Korean bbq joint.
Yakitori Jinbei is nearby and was featured on diners drive ins and dives and is good.
Iberian Pig is good. Pork cheek tacos for the win.
Ormsby’s is a cool gastro pub with a lot of bar games and is a cool area in the Westside provisions district. Painted Duck is similar.
Bone Garden Cantina is great Mexican also in that westside area.
Aria is legit good fine dining.
If you have to go to a mall go during the day and probably choose Phipps rather than Lenox
I would skip Atlantic station.

That’s the one it was. Not pho Dakao I’m thinking of. Yakitori Jenbei. All in the same shopping center right behind the stadium. But it didn’t impress me. Definitely agree with the others though especially Ormsbys and Bone Garden (owned by the Vortex, also an Atlanta staple). Bone Garden (closed sundays) is right next to Top Golf too if you’re into that
Also agree with skipping Atlanta station. It’s meh at best
