After Meeting With Russian President Vladimir Putin Joe Biden Freezes Military Assistance to Ukraine
June 18, 2021
President Donald Trump was impeached under the false pretense of withholding military assistance from Ukraine (he never did). Intelligence Community operative Lt. Col Alexander Vindman testified to congress that President Trump’s decision to pause military assistance to Ukraine was evidence of some suspicious relationship between President Trump and Russian President Putin…. The media proclaimed Trump was working to assist Russia because President Putin likely had pee tapes, or something.

How much of that imported oil is being transported on trains owned by Biden's mega-donor Warren Buffett?

Everything you said above this proved my point because everything you said before this is pure bullshite.
Look, I strongly dislike Biden and all the lefties with all my being but cwill isn’t wrong here. The us was never energy independent in the last couple of decades and never will be unless we cut our consumption. I’m in the industry and Biden has been awful in regards to the lease moratorium (I’m caught in limbo on a fed lease I’m involved with) and the stupid decision to stop keystone. He’s not wrong on his macro observations. We are about to have an energy crisis and amazingly almost nobody sees it coming.

Wow! We went from energy independence under President Trump to energy dependence under Plugs.
Stolen elections have consequences.

It will be an energy crisis at the whim of opec+ since they have spare capacity…I also think shale is going to ramp up but there have been some hard lessons which have led to some serious capital constraints. Most of these guys have no idea the carnage in the O&G industry from about late 2014 - 2020.

They have declines too and I fall into the matthew simmons camp on some of their reserves. Ghawar is past peak and saudi is working harder and harder to even stay at the 9.5 mmbpd max they can likely produce without causing reservoir damage. Venezuela is in shambles, non opec is suffering from lack of capex, and Iran is already putting most of their oil to market through back channels. Us shale is down 2 mmbpd plus and canada has had little investment in the last few years. Bakken and Eagleford core is exhausted and permian isn’t far from plateau. Demand is soon to eclipse 2019 levels and where is the extra oil going to come from?

I was all in on simmons’ view 10 yrs ago but after they flushed us this last go-round I’m not so sure. I could def be wrong here. Vz is def shambles. I think some Iranian oil is sneaking out but not that much. I think if prices stay high for this year capital markets open back up for oil…$$$ will trump all this ESG bullshite.
Forgot your shale comments. I agree somewhat, I think there’s a second life in the cores drilled up pre-2014. Lots of reserves left behind due to shitty completions. I think the most concerning development is the shine coming off the Delaware. Too much water, too expensive and the benches look like they’re in communication.

Putin is buttfricking Biden without lube on the world stage, and all I can do is eat my popcorn and watch the circus.
