With Pinson at PG, Miller at SG, Fudge at SF and Colbert (I think) at PF then Reid at C. Your starting 5 is top 5 in the country, and brings in experience at the guard position which is important to run a great offense. Add in Days possibly (fingers crossed) coming back with LeBlanc, Gaines, Fudge and Wilkinson as bench players, I think this team has a chance to be really special. Sweet 16 talent for sure.

You don't even mention Eason (who could start) or O'Neal who will be healthy and much improved. This team will be crazy deep.

You didn't even mention Eason who Wade can't stop gushing over.

LSU is so damn deep this year. You could make 10 different lineups and they could all possibly be the right combo. Depends if you want to go with length, smaller and quicker, more offense off the bench, etc. I think Pinson/Miller/Efton are 100% locks to start.I really think Eason is going to start too based off of how WW speaks of him, but I'm not sure. O'Neal seems to be healthy and hopefully on the upswing

5: Reid
4: Eason
3: Wilkinson
2: Miller
1: Pinson

O'Neal, LeBlanc, Knight, Murray and Gaines as the main 5 off the bench, with Colbert and Fudge also getting time in a SICK 12-man rotation. Ezewiro plays in blowouts, which are often.

Watch Wilkinson make a big emergence as a sophomore who serves as the team's key lockdown defender and transition-basket ace, plus a versatile inside-outside scoring option and a great offensive rebounding threat.

We don't need Mitchell or Days. In fact, I'm not sure we would have a place to put them. This team as it's currently constituted is as good as anybody.

That won’t be the starting 5

But do you think that’s a better 5 than the one that severely underachieved last year?

I think Pinson, Miller, Eason and Reid are 4.

The fifth could go a variety of ways
