Any of you baws put katskinz in your truck/car by yourself?

I know katskinz and similar products have been discussed here before, and a good bit on the truck forums. But I noticed you can get new ones on eBay for like 500 and most truck shops I've come across charge 1000 plus for them and install. I can't imagine its that difficult going off of youtube videos.

I had a friend do it a couple years ago in a mustang. Said it wasnt bad.
FWIW, when ford was doing that free leather promo a while back katskinz were installed. Looked good to me.

No but my truck (used) came with it and it’s been awesome for the last 5 years

Guy that did ours used a hand steamer. Supposedly helps smooth things out

If you can afford it, hire a professional. They will do it right the first time. jmo
