Because it's the tip of the spear. The post you just wrote would have sounded exactly like this about a story of transgirls being allowed to compete against biological girls had it come here 5 years or so ago. It would have been loony tunes, and would have been seen as being for nothing more than clickbait. Now? You're considered a "transphobe" if you dare suggest a transgirl isn't a regular girl with the same rights to compete against any other girl.

What is seen as insane today has been shown to rapidly be pushed as mainstream sooner rather than later over the past 10 years or so. Might be time to stop waiting for things to overtake our institutions and be prepared early from now on.
