Erland Van Lidth De Jeude: Had a B.S. in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from MIT was also on the wrestling team, where he was the 1976 NCAA Division III runner-up the heavyweight division. He was also an alternate on the Olympic the heavyweight wrestling team.
He also played this guy.

This was one of the great male red meat movies of the 1980's. Pure brain candy for men. Only Arnold can get away with those cheezy punchlines and be totally ok!

Its one of those movies I watched a lot as a kid and so even though I realize as an adult its not that great I still enjoy it. That said it is far different from the book and I/m looking forward to the remake as well.

It kind of shows "What might have been?". Because Dawson was so successful on game shows, he didn't do a whole hell of a lot of acting.
But, man did he own the screen in this film.
