This is fair. In hindsight I don’t think I handled it the best way possible, but I won’t apologize for being concerned.

It’s natural to be suspicious of things that are out of the ordinary. And on top of that biology we are hammered with stories non stop about the worst in people....

But whenever I get to “somebody needs to think of the children” or “can never be too careful” I try to gut check myself a little and think about what risk is actually in front of me. Those are normally stand ins for “there’s nothing reasonable to be worried about but I’m letting myself get worked up for some reason”

Sounds weird. I'd consider most casual walks with no headphones "meditative" but wouldn't think that people would want to do that with other people. What's the point?

I would absolutely mark down when they do it and make sure I am blowing off the yard with my industrial leaf blower into the street right then.

nitwit and Mingo

GFY or each other.

Fwiw, it wasn’t all women, that would have been less questionable. I have NO problem with others believing whatever the hell they want. But it’s arseholes like you who don’t respect what I believe or what might concern me who have divided this country. That’s an undeniable fact.

But as said I apologized, and she accepted.
