Why can't conservative or Republican candidates win the EBR Mayor-President seat?

Serious question. The 2019 estimated population of EBR is about 440,059. The population of BR proper is 220,000 (est.).
So tht means about 50% of the parish population lives in the other towns and areas of EBR, but no candidate from those areas can seem to ever win.
My theory is that the people of those areas don't care for the candidates from other areas enough to go vote for them. Zachary people aren't going to go out of their way to vote for a guy that is from Central or St. George, or a guy that those two may like. And vice versa.
Conservatives and Republicans just can't get anyone to go out and vote for them. And that's the problem with the State Party these days. They have absolutely no one who can unite the constituency.
Just seems like all the bitching about free Popeyes to go vote or rides to the polls or having elections on "Football Saturdays" is stupid and misplaced when your own can't be bothered to go vote because they have "better shite to do".

EBR has had mayors from outlying areas in the past and they didn't exactly set the woods on fire.

The demographics in this parish has been changing for some time…not just in BR. It is much tougher for a Republican to be Mayor-President because of that alone. You can still win council districts though.

Democrats will never allow that happen. They’ll wait to report their precincts and districts last and then start stuffing ballot boxes with the amount they need to steal the election.

To the other areas of the Parish.
While BR has seen a small decline since 2010, EBR has seen a 3.6% climb in population.
So this is just not true. The "flocks" of families leaving the parish is another BS belief.

Can you give an explanation as to why?

I'm asking a serious question. Please do the courtesy of giving a serious answer.

That was a serious low IQ post

Born and raised in Central. It seems like most of the people I went to high school with are now in DS, Walker and Watson area. And there’s a ton flocking to Ascension as well.

Ok.
But EBR parish is growing too.

I’m fairly certain that IS a serious response. Heavily democrat precincts only report their results late when the race is close. You fricking tell me what’s going on.

I know what I’m talking about more than you’re avg joker. I’ve been fundraising, campaigning and worked for one of the biggest conservative orgs in DC.
You are the one who is very naive of what’s going on if you really don’t think Dems have been stealing elections for decades. I worked with James O’Keefe that year he was arrested for breaking into Mary Landrieu’s office and exposing her fraudulent arse being in cahoots with Acorn.

Kip was a good mayor for Baton Rouge. Before him we had Republican mayors. Since Kip the Republican candidates were Bodi White and Steve Carter. If a non-shitty Republican ran they’d have a chance.

Ok. Who gives a shite about DC or NOLA in this thread.
This is about EBR and they don't have to steal shite because the opposition just doesn't show up to vote.
The question is why?

Does Louisiana even have such a thing?

BR is IN EBR. You think democrats decide to be honest bc it’s just a mayor/president?
