Original Baum was built in 1996 with a master plan in mind. The plan was never scrapped and continued over the years as planned. The future centerfield entrance and boxes that wrap around left field is all that’s left.

People here worried about keeping up with Baum??
The Box can’t see Baum from where it is. There are at least 5-6 stadiums better in the SEC! Hell, there are 1-2 in the state of Louisiana that offer a way better fan experience.
I’ll never forget the first time I walked into the new Box the year it was built. I was pumped! Showed up early expecting a palace- a shrine to baseball. I walked in and went “is this it??”
Now I’ve had a chance to attend in a suite a few times and once in the club seats behind home plate. THAT is where all of the money and energy went. The rest of the stadium got a big F You. With that, you also priced a lot of people out, pushed due hardship further away from the field, and moved people from their seats.
Sorry. The Box just sucks
