While the Cop was a dumbass, people need to learn to pull over. You do NOT have the right to pull over at your convenience. If the road has a shoulder, you are to pull over immediately.
Too many people seem to believe they can pull over whenever they're ready. This is false. Stop teaching your kids this.

One could argue she put her fetus at risk by not pulling over but I agree the cop was dumb and will rightfully get fired.

I’ve seen episodes of cop shows where people just stop in construction zones similar to this after seeing the blue lights come on….then the cops berate them for stopping in an unsafe location.

She didn't have a place to pull over safely. That's why she slowed down and put on hazards, she was in the right lane clearly looking for the first safe spot to pull over - which is what any sane police officer will tell you to do .
