I think he’s more than a hot name and 1 hit wonder. Just go look at his record since arriving at Tennessee and they started 15-2 last year before the scam-demic ended the season. He also coaches under one of the greatest college coaches in baseball in Van Horn. Becoming. HC at 35 years old says a lot about what kind of coach he is. Players love him and he’s a player coach.

Every fan base has those fans including UT. Some are worse than others that’s for sure. But some folks here are being more than irrational. They being down right delusional if they think they gonna walk into Knoxville and win easily and off to Omaha.

Nothing will be easy. We lost three there already this year. But this isn’t the regular season and I’ve got faith in my outbound coach to make it happen. You are sure to trust in yours too.

LSU is great and has more bas wall tradition than UT, no doubt. But the UT brass will give Coach B what he wants and have already stated they are ready to make him on of the highest paid in the country on top of committing to stadium upgrades and having games in the new minor league stadium that is being built in Knoxville.
