Your average boxing fan has no idea who these people are and still doesn't know. There's so much cringe in this thread and the main thread. I think some of ya'll have never watched a boxing match before last night. First, most of your hardcore boxing fans hate FM and don't know anything about the Paul brothers. Second, no boxing fan gives a shite if Paul brothers can win against FM in a streetfight, most if not all would agree FM would lose.

Third, nobody is really defending FM, there is nothing to defend. He's not well liked, and he's old and has been retired almost 5 years. He even stated prefight he has no strategy for Paul and hasn't even really watched him.

Fourth, the fight is how FM fights, that's his style. It's like knocking Deion Sanders as an NFL CB b/c he couldn't tackle, DS knew what he did best and excelled at that. FM is endurance, speed, and defense, he was 50-0 with that, his fights are boring yes. FM cares about going undefeated and making big money, he doesn't care what any of us, or your average boxing fan cares about.

Ya'll keep knocking boxing, your average boxing fan has been knocking boxing for 20 years It's like ya'll are trying to start an argument that doesn't exist and had to make a separate thread to do it.
